Welcome to Cameo Shores & Cameo Highlands

Cameo Shores and Cameo Highlands are small enclaves of luxury single level homes located next to four private gated beaches in Cameo Shores and Crystal Cove. The neighborhoods were developed in the 1960s with a variety of architectural styles, such as modern and ranch-style.

Today, lots are terraced up the hill toward the Pacific Coast Highway, providing the majority of the community’s homes with panoramic ocean or canyon views. Most new builds are two stories with expansive square footage, one ground floor, and subterranean garages, gyms, wine rooms, and media rooms.

Cameo Shores is located on the ocean side of the Pacific Coast Highway and includes approximately 170 homes. The community has a homeowners’ association and offers a range of luxury amenities to match its high-end price tag. Residents can enjoy access to four stunning private beaches. Additionally, this access includes the use of beautiful beach trails through the Pelican Hill Golf Course

Cameo Shores is located in convenient proximity to the Village of Corona del Mar, which has a variety of upscale shopping and dining.

Cameo Shores homes are located in conjunction with estates in the Cameo Highlands neighborhood, which lie north of the Pacific Coast Highway. Cameo Highlands real estate also offers ocean views since homes here are situated at a higher elevation, creating a tiered panoramic view.

The neighborhood was built in the 1960s at the same time as Cameo Shores’ development. The area covers approximately 170 lots in varying sizes and home styles. Cameo Highlands’ residents also have access to nearby private beaches.

Celebrities such as Wayne Gretzky, Donna Reed, Rod Laver, Chuck Jones, Diane Keaton, James Brolin, and scientist Sherwood Rowland have all called the Cameo neighborhoods home. As well, many business founders and notable Orange County philanthropists live in the area.

Bev White lived in Cameo Shores for nearly 40 years and served as the Home Owners’ Association Board President, as well as a member of the Architectural Committee and the Cameo Philharmonic Committee. She enjoyed all of the community beach parties and interesting neighbors.
